how to get started as a beginner
- Skateboarding is an awesome way to get outside and really challenge yourself to learn something new. I believe it can challenge our brains and bodys to be able to learn a skateboard trick.
- for beginners the best way to start would be to go to SolSk8s the local skateshop in bend and pick up a complete board, helmet and pads. Then you could go to a open parking lot or just some grass and get used to standing on it and see which direction you are more comfortable on the board. You could then practice pushing around on flatground.

Some of my favorite skatespots are pondorosa skatepark, Old pondorosa skatepark and the redmond skatepark
The equiqment I use
The skateboard deck I have is from Krooked skateboards, I like it so far it is a 8.5in wide deck. The trucks I ride are from thunder trucks and I have had them for 12 years. The trucks are the light weight addition not the hollows and I enjoy them very much. The wheels I ride are from bones wheels and they are good a little slow though because they were originally 52 millimeters but have worn down. The bearings i ride are bone reds and old I could probably use some new ones.
